This summer the Certification Body of JSC "EREC" received a new certificate of accreditation No. ОИАЭ.RU.043 (ОС) (The Order of The State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM from 14.09.2017 No. 1/878-П "On the reissue of the accreditation certificate of the JSC "EREC").

The Certification Body of JSC "EREC" performs work on confirmation of conformity of the products for which the requirements for safety in the field of nuclear power use are set and with the mandatory requirements within the scope of accreditation which was expanded this time.

Certificate of Accreditation is valid from September 14, 2017 until September 14, 2022.

Recently JSC "EREC" successfully certified its management system according to ISO 9001:2015 in Certification body for systems and personnel, TÜV Thüringen e.V., Germany.

The Certificate № TIC 15 100 179961 (valid from: 2017-08-31 until 2020-08-30) proves the conforming application with the regulation in accordance with TIC auditing and certification procedures.

The delegation of JSC “EREC” participated in the IX-th International Scientific and Technical Conference “Safety Assurance of NPP with VVER” (ISTC-2015). The Conference was held from May 19 to 22 in ОКB “GIDROPRESS” (Podolsk) in association with State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom”.
248 experts from 14 countries, two international organization’s delegation (IAEA and WANO) design as well as experts of engineering and research institutes, representatives of machinery plants, NPPs and several higher education establishments met to exchange an experience at safety assurance of VVER-reactors. A wide spectrum of safety issues was covered, such as discussion of calculational-theoretical and experimental works aimed at safety enhancement, equipment improvement and service life extension of NPP with VVER RP as well as innovative development of VVER RP in the frame of “Generation-III+” and “Generation-IV” programs.
179 papers on urgent problems of safety assurance of VVER NPP, including 14 papers discussed at plenary sessions, were presented at the Conference.
JSC “EREC” experts were involved in the work of the Conference:

• Eduard BOLTENKO addressed the theme: “Determination of steam flow rate in NPP’s pipelines by velocity gauge”.

• Sergey NIKONOV presented the report “Experimental researches of hydraulic friction and levelling capacity of submerged perforated sheet in PGV test facility (EREC)”.

• Yury PARFENOV presented the topic “Validation and improvement of the STEG code on the basis of the experimental data, obtained at PGV test facility.Calculation analysis of the tests at the PGV test facility”.
